features two 100-Watt ampliÞers, a single 6.5 high excursion hemispherical woofer, and a 1 dual concentric diaphragm tweeter with integral wave guide, for superior off-axis response. The SAT 6.5 EXR can be used with or without a subwoofer and the rear panel incorporates two completely independent balanced input stages with XLR connectors. The main input is for standard 80Hz bass-managed operation, and makes the SAT 6.5 EXR fully compatible with Blue Skys SUB 12, SUB 212 and SUB 15 Universal. This input features an 80Hz high-pass network, with phase correction Þlter. Because of the very unique design of the electronics and the studio monitor, when the 80Hz input is used, this ported monitor has all the characteristics of a sealed box.The second Extended Range input is designed to be used for applications where a sub is impractical, or as a second conÞdence input, to allow the engineer or mixer to quickly compare between bass-managed and extended range modes.
tri-amplified, 300-Watt, High Output Near-Field Monitor which features two 6.5 high excursion hemispherical woofers and a 1 dual ring radiator tweeter with integral waveguide, for superior off-axis response. The SAT 265 is powered by a dedicated low distortion 100-Watt amplifier for each of the 6.5 woofers, and a low distortion 100-Watt amplifier for the tweeter. The SAT 265 effortlessly delivers clean and accurate sound with a frequency response of 80Hz to 30kHz +/-3.0dB (200Hz to 15kHz +/-1.5dB).For full compatibility with Blue Skys SUB 15 Universal, SUB 212, SUB 12 and BMC (Bass Management Controller). The rear panel also has controls for full space (placement in a room) or half space (mounted in a baffle wall) operation, along with HF level trims, as well as controls for variable gain settings. The SAT 265 is designed to provide the best performance in the vertical configuration. The SAT 265 has been designed to integrate perfectly with Blue Skys new SUB 212. The SUB 212 is a sealed box, push-pull, 400-Watt subwoofer. The push-pull configuration reduces distortion, provides increased output, and features an anechoic frequency response of 25Hz to 200Hz, +/-3dB.In addition, the SUB 212 also has built-in 2.1 bass management electronics with both a 4th order 80Hz Linkwitz-Riley low-pass filter and a 2nd order 80Hz high-pass filter that is perfectly matched to the response of the SAT 265 (the SUB 212 is also compatible with the SAT 265, SAT 6.5 and SAT 5).When combined, the SAT 265 and SUB 212 provide a stunningly accurate and engaging, full-range monitoring system.SAT 265 SpecificationsEnclosure.75 MDF with 1 front / rear baffle and internal bracing.25 x 20 inserts for attachment of OmniMount type 60bracketsDimensions (H x
first significant upgrade to Blue Skys original SAT 6.5. The MK II version includes several upgrades, which both increase performance and reliability. Powered by two custom-designed 100-watt amplifiers with a highly optimized electronic crossover, the SAT 6.5 Satellites deliver clean, accurate sound with a reproduction frequency response of 80 Hz to 20 kHz +/* 3.0 dB (200Hz * 10kHz +/* 1.5dB).On the rear panel there is a Power Switch, Voltage Selector Switch, Fuse Holder, Gain Control, 12dB Input Attenuator Switch, LED power indicator, 80Hz High Pass Filter Switch and a balanced XLR Input. The Blue Sky SAT 6.5 Satellite speakers are housed in MDF enclosures and measure a compact 12" H x 8" W x 10" D. Weighing 28 lbs. (each), the SAT 6.5 powered speakers feature full video shielding, perfect for use near video monitors. The SAT 6.5 Satellite speakers also come standard with four 1/4" x 20 inserts, located on the bottom of the cabinet, for attachment of OmniMount type 60 (formerly known as the 100 Series) brackets or Powerdrive WHO 100 type brackets . Updated / New Features New Vifa XT-25 tweeter, with a ferrite motor structure: This tweeter is the same tweeter that is used in Blue Skys Big Blue SAT 12 and is slightly more efficient than the previous neodymium version, while also providing better thermal characteristics. Gain range attenuator (+12dBu or +24dBu operation): Allows the user to easily optimize the signal to noise ratio Redesigned input stage: Improved signal to noise performance, with lower noise floor. Improved reliability: Newly designed, individually optimized, driver protection. Protects against both short and long term damage,
