Guilty Conscience Die zweite veröffentliche Single und erschien am 9.8.1999. Diese Single landete auf dem 40. Platz in den TOP 100 der deutschen Singlecharts und konnte sich 7 Wochen in den Charts halten. Dieser Song wird von Eminem und Dr. Dre gerappt.
***Wer ist Eminem?***
Eminem wurde 17. 10.1972 in Missouri geboren und ist in Detroit aufgewachsen. Drei Monate nach seiner Geburt verlies sein Vater die Familie und so hatte Eminem nur noch die Mutter. Diese war drogenabhängig und gewalttätig. In seinen Songs verarbeitet er seine Vergangenheit und das gestörte Verhältnis zu der Mutter. Auch nimmt er gerne andere Stars auf die Schippe. Aber Eminem hat auch eine ernste und nachdenkliche Seite und diese stellt er uns hier vor.

Das Cover ist auch diesmal sehr schlicht gehalten oben und unten am Rand sieht man einige Bilder aus dem Video und in der Mitte steht dann der Titel und die Interpreten des Songs. (Siehe Bild)

***Guilty Conscience***
Die Idee ist super aber auch die Umsetzung der Idee ist klasse. Hier werden einige junge Männer begleitet die einige Probleme haben. Eminem und Dr. Dre begleiten ihn als Täufelchen und Engelchen.
Zuerst kommt ein junger Mann der ein zielloses Leben führt und will ein Geschäft ausrauben. Wieder kommt sein Gewissen zum Vorschein. Wieder wirf Dr. Dre mit Wörtern um sich, damit der Mann an die Konsequenzen denkt. Aber Eminem ist wieder mit seinen gewohnt lässigen Rap da und rapt, dass er die Verkäuferin erschießen soll, ihm soll es aj egal sein.
Danach kommt er auf eine Party und kann eine besoffene Studentin ausnutzen und ausziehen. Es kommt zu einem Gespräch seines Gewissens. Wie soll man sich das vorstellen? Es ist eine Art Battle zweier Hip Hopper. Dr. Dre versucht mit seiner gewohnt ruppigen Stimme auf den Jungen einzureden und ihn vor einem Fehler bewahren, aber auf der anderen Seite wirft Eminem mit den ganzen Fantasien um sich wirft. Im letzten und heftigsten Szenario handelt es sich um eine Mann der von der Arbeit nach Hause kommt und seine Frau mit einem anderen Kerl erwischt. Wieder kommt das Gewissen zum Vorschein. Eminem rät ihm, denn sofort Mann zu Erschießen. Dr. Dre sorg wieder etwas für Ruhe und sagt ihm, dass es bestimmt gründe gibt, wieso sie es getan hat. Später verarscht Eminem noch Dr. Dre und dieser Schlägt sich auf die Seite von Eminem. Er sagt ihm, dass er einfach alle erschießen soll.
Der Song sagt viel aus, jeder hat ein gewissen und man soll sich immer genau überlegen, was man genau machen will.
Der Beat ist richtig gut. Er hat fette Bass stellen und das Keyboard begleitet die genialen

***Was halte ich von dem Song***
Das ist eines der besten Songs von Eminem mit Dr. Dre. Er regt zu denken auf. Auch wenn das auf eine sehr krasse Art ist.

Der 2 Track auf der CD heißt 97' Bonnie & Clyde. Dieser Song ist wieder mal was ganz anderes. Es geht um seine Tocher Hailie und ist sehr anständig gehalten. Um was geht es? Also Eminem und seine Tochter fahren im Auto und im Kofferraum des Autos liegt die tote Ehefrau und Mutter. Eminem erklärt seiner Tochter, dass der Leichengestank von einem Stinktier kommt und Mama sich schlafen gelegt hat. Am Strand angekommen bittet er seine Tochter ihm zu helfen. Die Mutter zu knebeln und so ins Hafenbecken zu werfen. In dem Song bezieht er sich auch auf das Verbrecher paar Bonnie und Clyde, wobei er seine Tochter direkt zum Komplizen macht. Hier hört man auch das erste mal seine Tochter auf einem Song. Im laufe des Songs erfährt man, dass nicht nur die Mutter im Kofferraum liegt, sondern auch ihr neuer Mann und dessen Sohn, die ebenfalls ermordet wurden.
Der Beat ist sehr ruhig und ungewohnt für Eminem, auch sein Rap ist sehr ruhig und ohne Aggressionen. ***Songtext***

Die Maxi CD beinhaltet 2 super Songs. Beide müssen erst mal verdaut werden, vor allem der Zweite. Diese Songs wirken vfür viele bestimmt verstört, aber Fans und die Leute die sich mit Eminems Leben befasst haben, werden auch diese Songs sehr gut verstehen. Bei Guilty Conscience beweist Eminem, dass er es mit einer Hip Hop legende aufnehmen kann. Für ca. 3€ kann man die Maxi CD kaufen.
